Description:
Construction of full optical network: trenching, horizontal drilling, pipe laying, supply and installation of switchboards / points-of-presence (POPs), cable laying and blowing, optics installation and measurement, installation of electrical equipment and passive optical equipment, installation and assembly of optical network switchboards, shafts, building connections.
Citrus Solutions GmbH is the Main Contractor for the Westnetz GU Standart project. This means that we are responsible for all works.
Works to be completed within GU Standard project:
- Design of optical internet network in Germany, Rheinland-Pfalz region
- Construction of optic internet network with excavation works
- Construction of optic internet house connections with excavation works

- Filling in of optical internet cables
- Measurement of the as-built route
- Preparation of as-built route documentation according to client requirements.
Project scopes:
- In 2023, work is planned in the three localities Zemmer, Zemmer-Rodt, Zemmer-Schleidweiler, to build a total of about 26 km of optical route and connect about 1300/473 buildings to the network.
- In 2024-2025 we will continue with other localities in this and other regions.
