Description:
SIA Citrus Solutions is implementing the construction of the DC7 data center in a “design and build” format.
The new DC7 data center is a precise response to the growing needs for secure data storage and data processing challenges, while also addressing the impact on climate change. DC7 will be the first data center in Latvia where the thermal energy generated during the center’s operation will be transferred to the company “Salaspils Siltums” and supplied to local residents. In summer, this energy will be used for heating water, and in winter, for heating purposes.
Data Center Parameters:
- Capacity: The first phase of construction plans to build 110 racks by the third quarter of 2026. The second phase plans to build an additional 110 racks by the end of 2028.
- Security Standards: Uptime Institute TIER III security level certificate.
- Availability: 99.982% guaranteed availability. The data center will be suitable for hosting critical IT systems for both government and business clients.
Design: Architectural, structural, external, and internal engineering solutions design, as well as BIM design at LOD300 level of detail.
Construction: The project will use the most modern energy efficiency solutions, while the data center’s technological systems will include innovative cybersecurity solutions and allow the operation of powerful artificial intelligence equipment.
This is the third data center for SIA Tet, for which SIA Citrus Solutions will carry out the design and construction as the general contractor.
